The longest lasting annular solar eclipse of the millenium will occur on 15th January 2010. In fact, this will be the longest annular eclipse until the year 3043!
The Maldive Islands will receive a longer period of eclipse than any other country with over 10 minutes and 50 seconds of annularity.
