Maldives Science Society has held a meeting with the Envoy for Science and Technology, Mr. Ahmed Shafeeq Ibrahim Moosa. The meeting was held at the President’s Office on 26 january 2010.
The President incumbent Mr. Mohamed Ijaz and Secretary General Mr. Ajmal Shaheed attended the meeting on behalf of the Maldives Science Society.
During the meeting the emphasis was on the different ways in which the Maldives Science Society can contribute toward the promulgation of scientific ideas in the Maldives and the different ways in which the Maldives Science Society can collaborate with relevant governmental and non-governmental bodies to achieve this goal.
During the meeting the Envoy for Science and Technology, Mr. Ahmed Shafeeq Ibrahim Moosa made very propitious remarks in connection with the Maldives Science Society’s vision and mission statements and pledged his assistance and support for the Maldives Science Society.
