* A presentation on the coral reefs of the Maldives – on 5th March
* A presentation on the wonders of the Maldivian seas – in May
* A presentation on the journey of the Maldivian dragon flies – in   September
* An Egg drop event [a competition] – in July
* Making an orrery [as part of an astronomy project]
* The globe at night – 16th to 20th March
* Celebrating Earth-hour – 28th March
* World Space Week – 4th to 10th October
* Worldwide star count – 9th to 23rd October
